Streaming Now: Dunki on OTT

Shah Rukh Khan’s last film, Dunki, finally arrived on OTT. The Raju Kumar Hirani’s directorial is currently streaming on the Netflix platform. The fans are eagerly waiting to stream the film and the streaming giant silently added the film to its library.

The film’s story is that of a group of friends who set out on a perilous journey to emigrate to the United Kingdom via a clandestine route called ‘donkey flight’, risking their lives in the process.

The film had a theatrical release on 21st December last year and opened to mixed reviews, which eventually resulted in a negative response from all corners. The fans are disappointed to witness a flop film for Shah Rukh Khan, that too after the mighty blockbusters Pathaan and Jawan in the same year.

Directed and edited by Rajkumar Hirani from a screenplay he wrote with Abhijat Joshi and Kanika Dhillon, Dunki was bankrolled by Red Chillies Entertainment, Jio Studios and Rajkumar Hirani Films. Apart from Shah Rukh Khan, the film also had Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal, and Boman Irani in crucial roles.

The film is currently streaming on Netflix.
