As expected, star heroine Trisha Krishnan has taken the allegations levelled by politician and former AIADMK functionary AV Raju very seriously. After putting up a tweet other day, she has now sent a legal notice to the politician through her lawyers, where she demanded not just an apology, but also cleaning up the videos of him circulating online.
Demanding hefty compensation for going through 4 days of mental agony for the comments, Trisha filed a defamation suit that AV Raju publish an apology in an English newspaper or any other paper that has more than 5 lakh followers. Also, Trisha’s counsel demanded that the politician should make sure to get all the links in electronic media, social media and websites removed at his own expense as everyone published his comments, causing pain to the actress.
Meanwhile, the actress’s lawyer stated that if the unconditional apology is not conveyed within 24 hours of receiving this notice, strict action will be taken through the Court of Law.
