MoD Rejected 15 Scripts, Approved VT’s OV

Filmmakers need to get all the required permissions from the MoD (Minister of Defence) to make movies on real incidents based on the Indian Defence system and also to shoot movies in army camps.

MoD rejected 16 scripts from various production houses for films based on the Pulwama attack.

However, they approved Varun Tej’s Operation Valentine, as they were convinced with the script and also the realistic approach of the makers in making the movie.

They have extended support by giving the permission to shoot at a very secured air force base at Gwalior.

A major part of the movie was filmed at the Air Force base at Gwalior for nearly 40 days and they got complete support from the officials during the shoot.

Operation Valentine became the most awaited movie to watch out in theatres, after the release of the trailer which clocked over 20 M+ views so far.

The movie helmed by Shakti Pratap Singh Hada will be released in Telugu and Hindi on March 1st.
