Director-producer Surya Kiran, who was shot to fame with the film Sathyam, passed away due to health issues. After his debut directorial Sathyam, Surya Kiran did other films, but they did not bring him the much-needed name and fame. Later, he participated in the fourth season of the Bigg Boss Telugu reality show but was eliminated in the beginning.
Throughout his career, Surya Kiran underwent many struggles and lost money in production. He made plans for a comeback multiple times, but he did not succeed.
A few years ago, he planned to do a Tamil film titled Suthradhari, but it did not materialize. He was married to actress Kalyani, but the couple divorced.
Surya Kiran worked as a child actor in two hundred films under the stage name Master Suresh. Later, he ventured into direction. However, his career as a director is not very fruitful. Post his Bigg Boss stint, he hoped to see success but the COVID era disrupted all his plans.
