Samantha To Play A Mute Girl

Actress Samantha Akkineni is busy with her new venture Saaki World which is an ecommerce platform. The actress will soon join the shoot of her upcoming film with Ashwin Saravanan. This film will be a Tamil-Telugu bilingual film and a thriller.

As per the latest update, Samantha is said to be playing a mute girl in the film and her character will be an intriguing one. Whether there will be anything else added to this or not, we will slowly know. The actress has been attending online workshops to perfect the role. She has decided to shoot for the film in November. This is a woman centric horror flick.

A couple of months ago, there were reports that Ashwin Sarvanan had approached actor Prashanth to play one of the leads in the film. However, the actor is yet to sign on the official agreement.

To be produced by Sony Entertainment, major portions of the film will be shot in Dehradun. A huge set will also be erected at Ramoji Rao Film City, Hyderabad, to helm important sequences.

Samantha is awaiting the release of her digital debut Family Man 2 which will stream on Amazon Prime Video.
