YCP MLA tested positive of Covid-19 for second time

Published by

In recent times we have heard about reinfection of Covid-19 cases but not many were reported which is a sign of relief. Shockingly an MLA got infected for the second time and he is Tirupati MLA Bhumana Karunakar Reddy.

The YCP legislator showed symptoms of the virus and so he had undergone Covid-19 test in a private lab in Tirupati. The results showed positive. However Bhumana will take up another test at a Government Hospital for further confirmation and he would proceed with his treatment accordingly.

Earlier in August Bhumana had tested positive of Covid-19 and was admitted to Ruia hospital. He recovered after a week of being in doctors observation.

Meanwhile India has reported 78,524 new positive cases and touched the 68 lakh mark. Currently the total case tally stands at 68,35,656 including 9,02,425 active cases and 58,27,705 people got cured. 971 people have died in the last 24 hours and 1,05,526 is the total death tally.
