Prashant Varma declared that he is not here to blend in with the conventional filmmakers, with his very first film Awe. His works after that emphasized that intention and his HanuMan emerged as a blockbuster proving his calibre.
Well, now that the director announced its sequel, Jai Hanuman. While this has triggered many discussions on who he will be bringing aboard for Jai Hanuman, the director seems to be having a small detour before actually getting to it.
It is heard that Prashant Varma has not zeroed in on any actor as a lead for Jai Hanuman. The delays with the same seem to have pushed him towards doing an unfinished business ‘Octopus’.
Octopus is a long-held project of Prashant Varma. He has previously completed 65 percent of its shooting and is said to be back on it. Anupama Parameswara is playing the lead in it.
Octopus will be Prashant Varma’s next directional for theatrical release.
