Vimal Krishna, who directed DJ Tillu was replaced by Mallik Ram, and so much pressure was put on the young director. Everyone was waiting to see how he would handle the sequel. But the way he has extracted performance and narrated the film on an entertaining note is there for us all to see.

Now that Tillu Square has become a massive hit, his nine-year-old dream of scoring mainstream success has finally come true.
