Sandeep Reddy’s Confidence on Spirit, 150 Cr On Opening Day

The Arjun Reddy director Sandeep Reddy Vanga is known for his frank talks. The director faced a lot of criticism for his recent sensation Animal yet the movie emerged as a success and a great number of people from the film fraternity praised it.

The man’s next is with the mighty star Prabhas, who already enthralled the fans and box offices with the dinosaur Salaar. Well, the combination of this ‘Spirit’ itself sets the expectations high but what happens if Sandeep Reddy Vanga expresses confidence in Spirit, it is a high moment for Prabhas’ fans.

In a recent interview with Bharadwaj Rangan, the Animal director spoke about the progress of Spirit. Prabhas will be playing an honest police officer in Spirit. Sandeep admits that he has finished only 60 percent of its script and the shooting starts in December.

Sandeep says he is visualizing something different and he hopes the audience will like it. Sandeep reveals that he is going to show how Prabhas reacts when something hurts him and how he reacts to it in Spirit. Sandeep believes that waiting before Prabhas’ reaction is really interesting point that works.

When asked if the huge budget is viable with the movie, Sandeep right away says the producer would definitely be safe with 300+ crores spent on it. The Spirit director exudes confidence that given his market and Prabhas together, the movie will recover the budget with just satellite and digital rights itself.

Talking about the trade calculation, Sandeep Reddy Vanga says he’s expecting at least 150 crore on day one.
