Early in January this year, when rumours erupted that director Puri Jagan’s latest film “Double Ismart”, featuring Ram Pothineni in the lead, got postponed from the March 8th release date, the makers got a little upset. Immediately they have given clarity to media folks that they have only 15 days of shoot left, and things are happening as planned.
We are in April now, and there is no sign of “Double Ismart” coming up in the next 30 days, and that is wondering everyone what exactly is happening. When checked, once again the movie team is maintaining that they have only 15 days of shoot left, with an intense climax sequence and two songs left to be shot. Some rumours are popping up that the film’s budget got overshot and they are looking for investors to wrap the shoot, as the OTT platform that earlier made a deal with them refused to pay advance.
Fans of Ram Pothineni have actually waiting for this sequel for the last 4 months as the hero’s previous films like Skandha and The Warrior have bitten the dust big time, and they want him to rise like a Pheonix at the box office.
