Baahubali Series- This Is Not What Fans Expected

Finally, fans of the superhit Baahubali franchisee who got excited after SS Rajamouli announced the arrival of a new animated series, have got to watch the trailer of “Baahubali: Crown Of Blood” other day. In fact, people are expecting to see an animated version of “Baahubali”, which looks like Disney’s Frozen or other Pixar Studio animated series. That has now upset them.

“Crown Of Blood” is a 2D animation series that is made like a prequel to the known Baahubali story. Before getting backstabbed by Kattappa, Baahubali goes for another war at the behest of his mother Sivagami, and this series presents that. However, the quality of the animation looks quite simple and old-school compared to what kids are seeing these days on Netflix and Hotstar in the ‘kids’ category. Also, the character design, as commented by netizens that Baahubali’s face is looking like MS Dhoni’s, isn’t super impressive.

When fans are expecting something of international standard and top-notch quality, this 1990-type planar animation isn’t giving a kick to them. We have to see what the ‘Baahubali: Crown of Blood’ makers say about this.
