What A Comeback! TDP Improved 700% in Jagan’s Bastion

The Rayalaseema region heavily allies with YSR Congress and its head YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. To put this statement into perspective, Jagan’s YCP won 49 out of the total 52 assembly seats in the Seema region in 2019 while TDP was utterly humiliated with just 3 seats.

But the return arc in 5 years is so staggering that TDP improved 700% when compared to 2019 numbers.

According to extremely noteworthy journalist Ravi Prakash, the Telugu Desam Party is bound to win 22 assembly seats in the Seema region in 2024. Going from 3 to 22 in 5 years is a comeback of epic proportions by TDP and more so in the stronghold of Jagan Mohan Reddy.

Surprisingly, even Congress is projected to win 1 seat in the Seema region, according to the RTV survey. As opposed to YCP’s propaganda that Chandrababu is going to lose Kuppam, RTV projects that Naidu will comfortably win this seat.

While TDP has improved by 700%, YSR Congress has lost nearly 40% of its strength as the party is projected to drop from 49 seats to 29 seats. This should ring warning bells in the YCP ecosystem now.
