Sri Lankan cricket legend Muthaiah Muralidaran’s biopic has been announced and the film is titled ‘800.’ Muralidaran claimed 800 Test wickets and was the first cricketer to achieve this feat. Accordingly the film is titled ‘800.’
Tamil star hero Vijay Sethupathi will be essaying Muralidaran’s role in this film and the motion poster would be out at 6 PM. MS Sripathy is going to direct this biopic which will showcase Murali’s life and cricketing career.
From an unorthodox spinner to emerging as one of the greatest bowlers, Murali has seen many ups and downs throughout his career. This biopic will have all the elements loaded.
As the Lankan bowler is popular across the nation, the film is likely to be dubbed in multiple languages too. Movie Train Motion Pictures and Vivek Rangachari are producing ‘800.’
