Sandeep Vanga planned A Kabir Singh – Animal Meet!

Though Sandeep Reddy Vanga is only three films old, his films remain as memorable as they are popular. The heroes in his films Arjun Reddy, its remake Kabir Singh and Animal, have both fans and haters.

In a surprising turn of events, sources close to the director now reveal that Animal was originally supposed to have a crossover scene between Ranbir Kapoor’s Ranvijay Singh and Shahid Kapoor’s Kabir Singh.

Apparently, these characters meet during the post-interval block of Animal when Ranvijay gets hospitalised after a shootout. The doctor who treats him is none other than Kabir Singh.

Sandeep Reddy Vanga had planned a funny yet massy exchange of words between these two characters. Unfortunately, this ambitious crossover could not materialize due to scheduling conflicts with Shahid Kapoor, leading to the idea being shelved last minute.

The plans to create a common narrative universe between Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s characters is ambitious to say the least, one that would intrigue and satisfy fans and cinema lovers in equal measure.

If not now, this idea can be pursued by the team at a later point of time too, say when Animal Park goes on floors.
