Hero’s Dual Success: Two Films Doing Well At Same Time

Rajkummar Rao, one of Bollywood’s most versatile actors, has achieved a rare feat by having two films simultaneously performing well at the box office. His romantic sports drama, Mr & Mrs Mahi, and the biographical film Srikanth are both currently in theaters, showcasing Rao’s incredible range and the audience’s enthusiasm for his performances.

“Mr & Mrs Mahi”, directed by Sharan Sharma, stars Rajkummar Rao alongside Janhvi Kapoor. The film, which was initially scheduled for release on April 19, 2024, was later rescheduled to May 31, 2024. The movie has been well-received by audiences, with its first-week collection reaching ₹24+ crores nett in India.

At the same time, his other film “Srikanth”, a biographical film based on the life of industrialist Srikanth Bolla, has also been performing well at the box office. The film, which was released in theatres on May 10th, has been praised for its powerful portrayal of Srikanth’s inspiring journey and collected nearly ₹50+ crores nett by now.

This dual success with two films in theatres at the same time is a rare achievement in Bollywood. Both these films are getting praised for Rajkumar Rao’s performance and also the way he picks some movies that are full of content but nothing else. This hero has interesting films like Stree 2 alongside Shraddha Kapoor and Vicky Vidya Ka Wo Wala Video co-starring ‘Animal’ fame Triptii Dimri lined up.
