Republic TV and its editor-in-chief, Arnab Goswami were sued by hero Sushant Singh Rajput’s friend and filmmaker Sandip Ssingh for Rs 200 crore. Taking to his Instagram handle, Sandip posted the legal notices that were served and added that if failed to comply in 15 days, he would go ahead with civil and criminal proceedings.
In this legal notices Sandip mentioned about journalist Arnab and Republic TV’s rant against him stating that “He was the key conspirator and murderer” in Sushant’s tragic death. Demanding an apology, Sandip asked Arnab and Republic TV to pay Rs 200 crore as damages to his reputation.
This is an unexpected move from Sandip Ssingh and he wants true facts to be revealed in Sushanth’s death. He added that he never smoked or boozed but the Republic TV had been picturing him as a drug peddler.
Meanwhile Sushant’s sister Shweta Singh Kirti had deactivated her Twitter and Instagram handles on Wednesday and this has surprised many. Her act came exactly four months after Sushant’s passing away. But Shweta clarified that some people were trying to hack her account and so she deactivated them for a while.
