I Am Like A Sage With A Bad Idea In Kalki 2898 AD: Kamal Haasan

The Mumbai pre-release event of Kalki 2898 AD has all the stars of the films discussing how it all happened. The superstars Kamal Haasan, Amitabh Bachchan, Prabhas, and Deepika Padukone joined the event and Rana Daggubati is hosting it.

The revelations from the making stage of Kalki 2898 AD by Amitabh, Kamal are interesting. When asked how Kamal Haasan narrated the story and what his reaction was when an ordinary-looking person Nag Ashwin came up to tell him about Kalki, Kamal explained it.

Kamal Haasan says he is used to this kind of ordinary-looking people doing extraordinary things, just like his mentor Balachandar. About Nag Ashwin, the legendary actor says he is a man of few words but has a great idea and he knows how to present it.

‘I was not surprised. I don’t underestimate these ordinary-looking guys. They have a depth to them that does not show unless you talk to them. Great ideas translate better when you present them in the right way and Nagi knew how to do it. I always wanted to play a ‘bad man’, because only he gets to do all the good things and have fun. In Kalki 2898 AD, I am more like a sage with a bad idea’.

It looks like Kamal Haasan really enjoyed the character he played and it has to be seen how intriguing it will be on the big screen.
