Shankar finally talks about Game Changer, but..

Shankar Shanmugam is one of the biggest directors in the country. He pulled off a rare feat by directing two films at a time from the last two years. While one is Kamal Haasan’s vigilante thriller Indian 2, the other is Ram Charan’s long delayed political drama Game Changer. Indian 2 is getting ready for a massive release on July 12th.

This evening, a grand pre-release event for Indian 2 was held in Hyderabad to promote it in Telugu States. During the event, Shankar finally opened up about Game Changer briefly. This is probably the first time that Shankar spoke about the film after he started working on it in 2021.

Shankar announced that Ram Charan completed his portion in Game Changer and there is still a few more days of shooting left. Shankar said Charan has got excellent screen presence and added that he has got controlled power which can explode anytime. He clarified that the team will lock the final output of Game Changer and get it ready for release.

Though Shankar finally revealed an update about the film, one disappointing thing is that he didn’t hint anything about the probable release date which is what fans of Ram Charan have been waiting for since many months.

Many expected that Shankar would announce the release plans during the promotions of Indian 2. But, he didn’t speak anything about the film until today and finally opened up about Ram Charan. Unfortunately, the suspense on the release date of Game Changer continues. There are reports that the film will release either for Diwali or Christmas.

Charan is playing a dual role in this social drama which has Kiara Advani and SJ Suryah in significant roles. Dil Raju is producing it on a large scale.
