However, recent developments have sparked interest in her upcoming projects, especially the Malayalam debut of Gautham Menon, which is said to have Samantha paired up opposite Mammootty. Today at the muhurat event of Mammootty’s new film that is being directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon, Samantha isn’t present. Also, the actress hasn’t shared anything about this film on her Instagram story too. That is now leading to beliefs that she might have not signed the film.

On the other hand, despite reports of Samantha agreeing to a web series and announcing the launch of her own production house, Tralala Moving Pictures, to produce a Telugu film, these ventures are yet to materialize.
