Dil Raju is a successful producer and a fortunate filmmaker in many respects. Recent developments surrounding the release of Bharateeyadudu 2 affirm that Dil Raju has been fortunate enough to avoid the film’s potential failure.
Initially, director Shankar had planned to collaborate with Dil Raju on this film. They even signed an official agreement, but due to delays and Shankar’s high budget, Dil Raju decided to withdraw.
Subsequently, Shankar proposed another project titled ‘Game Changer’ to Dil Raju. This film, featuring Ram Charan, indeed became a game-changer for Dil Raju.
Despite facing delays, Dil Raju is not solely responsible for the costs; Zee Company is also involved. The anticipation and hype surrounding ‘Game Changer’ far surpass those of Bharateeyudu 2.
Ram Charan’s enhanced status post-RRR has created a significant market in the North, and the film is expected to generate substantial business in the Telugu states. This level of success is something Bharateeyudu 2 has not achieved to the same extent.
Looking back, missing out on Bharateeyadu 2 and acquiring ‘Game Changer’ appears to have been highly advantageous for Dil Raju.
The Shankar brand also holds considerable value in Tamil Nadu. While rumors suggest a December release, Shankar has emphasized that a release date will not be confirmed until final editing is complete.
