Thaman’s Brigade Shines As Anirudh Faces Backlash

Music composer Anirudh Ravichander has recently faced heavy trolling from Telugu music lovers, who have expressed their disappointment with his work in the film “Bharateeyudu 2.” Many have taken to social media to criticize Anirudh’s background score, which they feel lacks the energy and impact that is expected from a film of this scale and genre.

However, this backlash has highlighted the stark contrast between Anirudh and his contemporary, S.S. Thaman. While Thaman has proven his ability to elevate even films with uninspiring content through his terrific background scores, Anirudh has struggled to meet the expectations in case filmmakers don’t come up with proper content.

Earlier, this has led many Telugu filmmakers to prefer working with Thaman over pursuing Anirudh. Thaman’s versatility and ability to adapt to various genres and styles have made him a sought-after composer in the Telugu film industry. Recently he has lifted many ‘simple’ scenes in the movies like Akhanda, Bhagavanth Kesari and Guntur Kaaram to the sky with his amazing BGMs. That’s the reason Thaman’s brigade of loyal fans are getting a real high now.

In contrast, Anirudh’s songs always get to click big time, but for Bharateeyudu 2, somehow everything coming from the talented composer went in the wrong direction only.
