The most recent announcement about Pawan Kalyan’s movie is all about the remake of Malayalam blockbuster Ayyappanum Koshiyum. Pawan Kalyan would be starting the shoot for the AK remake right after he finishes Vakeel Saab. While Pawan Kalyan’s limited time availability for shooting is one hurdle, here seems to be another trouble for the makers.
Sai Pallavi was offered a role in the movie and she has reportedly rejected it. Director Sagar Chandra is heard to have done the job well in adapting the original to the Telugu nativity with needed changes but struck at the actor to play the heroine’s role. The original is mostly the movie of two men locking horns and there is too little role for a star heroine to play it.
The rumor had it that Sai Pallavi was approached for the short role as Pawan’s wife in the movie and it is now heard that she rejected the offer. Sai Pallavi earlier rejected many offers which she felt they had no substance or scope for performing. Many feel that Sai Pallavi rejecting this minuscule role is no surprise.
Also, the producers are not very interested in spending big bucks for a short and unimportant role, which can be played by any actress. But with Pawan kalyan in lead, they have no other choice except to bring on a popular heroine. Sai Pallavi reportedly rejected a role in Chiranjeevi’s Vedalam remake and now the makers are heard to be approaching Keerthy Suresh for the same.
