SSMB29 – Shooting Starts In January 2025

It’s been more than two and half years since S S Rajamouli’s global sensation, RRR Movie released & more than nine months since Mahesh Babu’s Guntur Kaaram was released in theatres. Fans and movie lovers are eagerly waiting for the official updates from Superstar Mahesh Babu & S S Rajamouli’s most awaited Globe Trotting adventure film. While makers may take a few more weeks to start giving official updates, here are a few exclusive updates about the film.

As per the sources very close to the team, Rajamouli, Vijayendra Prasad & the team compled the scripting works and are currently doing locations recce across the globe to shoot the film with an estimated budget of ₹900 to ₹1000 Crores.

Also, casting & other pre-production works are in full swing at the moment. And, the team is planning to go onto the floors in January 2025 after Sankranthi. Like most of his earlier movies, S S Rajamouli is expected to conduct a press meet soon to officially announce the storyline, cast, crew and other details of the film.

Fans may need to wait at least a couple of years to see Superstar Mahesh Babu on-screen. However, they can watch, ‘Mufasa: The Lion King’ in theatres from 20th December 2024 to listen to their favourite actor’s voice-over for Mufasa’s character.
