Actors often fall prey to social media morphing, and they can’t do anything about it. Their pictures are publicly accessible and can be used by people in any way they choose. Unfortunately, these images are often misused, creating trouble for celebrities. Recently, popular actress Mrunal Thakur became a victim of such photo morphing.
An Instagram user made a Diwali video of himself posing with a morphed picture of Mrunal Thakur. The actress lost her cool after coming across the content and lashed out at the user. Bhai kyu jhooti tassali de rahe hain aap apne aap ko? Aapko lagta hain ki aap yeh Jo kar rahe hain yeh cool hain? Ji nahi!” (Why are you giving yourself false reassurance? Do you really believe that what you’re doing is cool? It’s not!). Mrunal might not have reacted in such a way if only her pic was morphed.
But she was furious with the netizen only because his job is to post morphed pictures of various celebrities on social media. She might have decided to teach him a lesson, saying that whatever he has done is not right. Mrunal was always vocal about such issues. Earlier, she also took a stand for Rashmika Mandanna during the latter’s deepfake video incident.
On the career front, Mrunal Thakur was last seen in the movie The Family Star, alongside Vijay Deverakonda. She is currently working on the Hindi film Son of Sardaar 2.
