Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan’s next film, Thug Life is directed by Mani Ratnam. The team announced the film’s release date today, on the occasion of Kamal’s birthday. The team released a special teaser, on this occasion which also has new shots, featuring Simbhu.
The team confirmed that Thug Life will be released in theatres on June 5th, 2025 in Telugu and Tamil. The film is billed to be an intense and gripping action drama.
In the teaser, we can see different looks of Kamal Haasan, fighting the goons. There are no dialogues but an interesting score of AR Rahman elevates the teaser. Simbhu is seen in the teaser, playing holi and jumping with a weapon drenched in blood.
In the end, a clean-shaven look of Kamal is revealed, with the release date that the film will hit the screens in June next year.
Thug Life marks Mani Ratnam and Kamal Haasan’s reunion after 36 years. They did Nayakan in the past. Thug Life also features Trisha, Nassar, Joju George, Ali Fazal, Aishwarya Lekshmi and Abhirami.
