Kannappa Enters A Mad Rush In Summer

Manchu Vishnu has officially put an end to the suspense revolving around the release date of his highly ambitious project, Kannappa. The film is hitting the screens on April 25th, 2025. The movie is scheduled for a Summer 2025 release, amidst a huge rush of films across the nation.

Kannappa is a mythological action drama mounted on a big scale. The film is slated for a release at the pan-India level. With the presence of stars like Akshay Kumar, Prabhas, Mohanlal, and others, the film will definitely demand a huge release across the country. Vishnu aims to bring the best release on cards for the film.

However, Prabhas himself is having a release in April. His film, Raja Saab, directed by Maruthi, is scheduled for release on April 10th. It is also a pan-India film which will be released in a big manner. People Media Factory, which is releasing it, is likely to also release Mirai on a grand scale. Teja Sajja and Manchu Manoj play the lead roles in the film. In this case, Prabhas might have two releases in the same month and both Manchu brothers will head into a box-office clash. In Tamil, we have Dhanush’s Idli Kadai releasing on April 10th. In a week’s gap after the release of Kannappa, HIT 3 s likely to hit the screens.

On the other hand, a couple of more Telugu films will be looking at the April-end slots since it is the beginning of the Summer holiday season. In all cases, Kannappa will face a stiff competition amidst a mad rush of releases for this Summer.

Mukesh Kumar Singh, who directed the famous mythological show Mahabharat that aired on Star Plus, is helming this flick. Manchu Vishnu along with his father Mohan Babu is producing the film.
