Viduthalai – Part 2 Trailer: Vijay Sethupathi Takes Over

Vetrimaaran’s Viduthalai Part 1 became a sensational period drama led by Soori as a rookie cop. The story revolves around a young cop stationed at a hill area where there is more than a conflict between the people and the police. Vijay Sethupathi appeared as Perumal in the first part and in a cameo appearance. The second part trailer is out and it is Perumal’s show all along.

Vijay Sethupathi plays the role of Perumal and the new trailer shows his story and how he chose to revolt against the class hierarchy and caste discrimination. The second part starts off from where the first part ended.

The Viduthalai 2 trailer shows shots of violence, brutality, and gory. The trailer also introduces Manju Warrier, who plays an activist and Perumal’s love interest. It looks like Vetrimaaran is bringing on yet another heart-rendering story this time with Perumal’s character leading the show.

Soori reprises his role from the original while the sequel also brings back Gautam Menon, Rajiv Menon, and Chetan among others. Viduthalai – Part 2 is releasing in theaters on December 20, 2024.
