Thappad Maroongi Saala – The Viral Pushpa Trend in North

The entire nation is vibing to ‘Kissik’ song from the film Pushpa 2: The Rule. Ahead of the film’s release, the team is busy with the promotions and released the item song from the film. The lyrical video is trending across the internet. However, we have interestingly learned that the Hindi version of the song is gaining more traction compared to the Telugu song.

In fact, both versions have become equally successful, but the phrase, ‘Thappad Maroongi Saala’, is well-received compared to ‘Debbalu Padathayi’ in Telugu, from the song. The catchy lyrics resonate well with the Hindi-speaking audience, and the song’s beat ensures its appeal remains intact. Social media platforms are buzzing with reels and posts featuring the Hindi version, hinting at its growing momentum.

Also, the first part of Pushpa saw greater success in Hindi than in Telugu, with its mannerisms and songs going viral in Bollywood circles. Given the high expectations for Pushpa: The Rule in the northern market, mass numbers like “Thappad Marungi Saala” could further fuel the film’s popularity there.

In general, when compared to Pushpa: The Rise, many feel the songs in Pushpa: The Rule fall short of expectations.
