Producer Clarifies On DSP’s Speech at Pushpa 2 Event

Devi Sri Prasad is known for his passionate audio albums and haunting sound tracks. He rarely gives any interviews and is less seen in public events. He makes use of the stage either to perform or to speak his mind out. During the Pushpa 2 promotional event in Chennai, DSP made some comments addressing the film’s producers that they have a lot of complaints about him regarding the timely delivery of the work.

Now, producer Naveen shared his version and reaction to what DSP spoke at the event. Speaking at the press meet of Robinhood, Naveen reacted casually to the speech.

Naveen stated, “Devi garu shared that there’s both love and some complaints about him, and I don’t take it the wrong way. However, the media has speculated a lot about this. At the end of the day, we’re all part of one family, and we’ll definitely collaborate again. As long as we’re here, we will continue working with him.”

Soon after the news broke out that the makers of Pushpa brought in multiple composers to work on the BGM along with Devi Sri Prasad, there are doubts about Devi’s timely deliveries. In this context, DSP shared his frustration and also mentioned that we should ask for payment and credit openly. The media wrote a lot of things that all is not well between the two parties.

However, DSP continues working on the film and with the clarification from Naveen, we can assume that these disturbances can be seen as passing clouds which commonly happens everywhere.
