Chiru Makes the Right Call: Why Anil Ravipudi is His Best Bet!

Megastar Chiranjeevi is being extremely cautious about the projects he is taking up, especially after the debacle of Bholaa Shankar. Currently, he is working on Vishwambhara. Right after that, he will work with Anil Ravipudi and Srikanth Odela respectively. We think Chiranjeevi has made the right decision to work with Anil first.

Earlier, it was rumoured that Mohan Raja, who directed Godfather, is in talks for another film with Chiru. However, it looks like things are on pause, and Anil Ravipudi’s project took the front seat. Anil has been planning to work with Chiru for a long time now. He is a big fan of Chiranjeevi and has expressed this several times. Even Chiranjeevi wants to work with Anil as he observed closely on the working style while he directed Sai Durgha Tej and Varun Tej. Now, all Chiru awaits is the result of Venkatesh’s Sankranthi Ki Vasthunnam which is releasing this Sankranthi 2025, and if it becomes a hit, the project will be greenlit without any further delay.

Anil Ravipudi has a track record of handling star heroes and he has a proven record of scoring blockbusters with them. Anil has worked with Superstar Mahesh Babu, Balakrishna, Victory Venkatesh, and others already. So, there will be no question of his capability in handling Chiranjeevi.

In this scenario, Chiru made a wise decision to go ahead with Anil first as he is a successful commercial filmmaker. By the time the project inches completion, Srikanth Odela will also be ready. He will finish his ongoing project The Paradise with Nani.

Interestingly, Srikanth Odela too need more time to prove himself despite scoring a grand successful debut Dasara. If The Paradisde becomes a blockbuster, Srikanth will surely be entering the next league of directors.

Given the time that Anil takes in completing his films, we can expect Chiranjeevi’s film with Ravipudi to hit the screens by the end of 2025. Anil will be free from his ongoing film, Sankranthi Ki Vastunnam, by the Pongal 2025.
