Unexpected Hype To Girlfriend At Pushpa Event

Pushpa 2: The Rule is one of the films garnering everyone’s attention across the nation. Scheduled for a grand release on the 5th of this month, the film unit held a pre-release event last night. Everyone praised Allu Arjun’s dedication and also hyped Rashmika’s performance in the second part. Interestingly, her female-centric film Girlfriend also received appreciation at the event.

After working with stars across the nation, Rashmika signed a female-oriented film in Telugu, directed by Rahul Ravindran. The film is under production currently, and the team launched the teaser already. Director Sukumar happened to witness the teaser recently and was blown away by the presence of Rashmika.

Speaking at the event, director Sukumar heaped praises on Rashmika’s performance in Pushpa 2. The close-up shots of Rashmika in the film floored him. While appreciating the same, Sukumar mentioned that Rahul showed him the teaser of Girlfriend.

“The teaser also has a lot of close-ups. Rashmika has emoted very well with beautiful expressions. I complimented Rahul for picking Rashmika. I liked the teaser,” said Sukumar.

Rahul Ravindran, the director of the film, took to X today to thank Sukumar. He wrote, “Didn’t expect him to bring this up here. So sweet of him♥️♥️ Thank you Suku Sir 🙌🏽🙌🏽♥️ Absolutely cannot wait for your movie sir😄”

Dheekshit Shetty plays the male lead in the film.
