A journalist filed a petition in Telangana High Court against the ticket prices of Pushpa 2. The petition was filed yesterday and he complained that the makers got the permission for the rise in ticket prices which is not legal.
The hearing took place today and the High Court opined that they can not stop the film’s release at this moment. The court also scheduled the hearing after two weeks. The court clearly stated that they will not have anything to say now. The petitioner’s lawyer argued that the revenue generated was not being allocated to charitable funds or relief efforts but rather benefitting the producer directly. When questioned, the lawyer representing the producers clarified that benefit shows cater primarily to fan groups, justifying the increased rates, and requested additional time to file a counter.
The court adjourned the further hearing to the 17th of December. Already, the advance bookings have begun across the world. The film will witness a huge number of planned shows across the Telugu states and worldwide.
A huge number is loading on the release day in terms of collections. Rashmika Mandanna played the female lead. Mythri Movie Makers backed this biggie. More details of the film will be out soon.
