The box-office across the globe is catching up with the fever of Pushpa 2. The film was released simultaneously in all the countries. Already, the film crossed 800 Cr rupees gross worldwide and the team is extremely happy with its euphoric run. Meanwhile, Vijay Sethupathi’s Maharaja is also setting the box-office on fire, in China, in across 40000 theatres.
Vijay Sethupathi’s film was released in Tamil and then simultaneously dubbed to Telugu. It did well in theatres and was later made available on Netflix. The film received huge appreciation from everyone. It is a big hit in terms of revenue. The team dubbed the film to Chinese language and released it there. The phenomenal run of the film is shocking the trade pundits across the globe.
Maharaja put up an amazing show in China, surpassing a revenue of Rs 60 crore mark. It’s only ten days since the film was released in China and it already raked 60 Cr which itself is a big achievement for Vijay Sethupathi’s film.
Directed by Nithilan Saminathan, the film was made on a budget of 20 Cr rupees. The worldwide collection of Maharaja stands at Rs 165.85 crore and the overseas collection stands at Rs 88.15 crore. The Indian net collection of the Tamil movie stands at Rs 72.43 crore and the gross collection is Rs 172 crore rupees.
On the whole, it is a proud moment for the South cinema lovers to witness two of the movies grown on the land becoming the center of attraction across the theatres worldwide.
Pushpa’s batting is pretty much getting complimented by Maharaja’s batting and both are rotating the collections at an amazing ‘box-office strike.’
