The Google Trends of 2024 revealed the most searched movies, persons, and other categories. The Google Indian Trends this year has three Telugu movies in the Top 10 and two of them belong to Prabhas.
The three Telugu films trended in the ‘Movies’ category in the Top 10 Google Indian trends are Kalki 2898 AD, HanuMan and Salaar. Kalki 2898 AD is top second, HanuMan is top fifth and Salaar is top ninth.
Needless to say how big blockbuster Kalki 2898 AD became and so did Salaar that was released at the end of 2023. Hanuman stole the show among Sankranthi releases and the movie became a sensation.
However, the top spot was taken away by Bollywood’s Stree 2 starring Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao. The Top 10 has 12th Fail in third followed by Laapataa Ladies in the fourth. Vijay Sethupathi’s Maharaj sealed the sixth place followed by Malayalam sensation Manjummel Boys.
Thalapathy Vijay’s The Greatest Of All Time got the eighth place. Fahadh Faasil’s Aavesam is at tenth.
