What A Wild Week For Telugu Media!

The Telugu Media space has been having several field days this December with one eventful incident following another. In this week itself, the media was kept super busy with a wild set of events.

It all started off with the post release coverage of Pushpa 2. The media was extensively focused on reporting about the Allu Arjun film and then publicise the massive collections it recorded at the box office.

This was quickly followed by the Manchu family saga that started off earlier this week. What started of as an ugly family feud between Mohan Babu and his two sons Vishnu and Manoj quickly transpired into a brutal development.

While the media was focused on covering the series of events that were happening in the Manchu family, an unforeseen incident happened when Mohan Babu injured a media reporter by swinging a mic at him. This left the reporter severely injured and he was treated at a hospital.

And today, the most significant incident of the lot happened with the arrest and subsequent release of Allu Arjun. The day started with the Chikkadpalli Police, taking Allu Arjun into custody, and it quickly went into overdrive as the Nampalli court sentenced him to judicial remand.

However, thankfully, Allu Arjun managed to secure bail at the last moment, thanks to the Telangana High Court. The arrest saga came to a peaceful ending with Allu Arjun, securing interim bail. In the meanwhile, the Telugu media was pushed into overdrive while covering all the events that unfold today.

And that’s not all either. With two more days to go for the end of this week, we are hearing several media reports about the possible arrest of Mohan Babu and KTR.

Mohan Babu is likely to be arrested in the case related to the attack on Media personnel. As for KTR, he is named as the prime accused in the Formula E scandal case and the ACB has opened the case on him today, following permission from the governor.

This is easily the most eventful week for Telugu media in recent years with so many wild incidents happening in a span of just seven days. As it appears, we are not done with the storm either, with the next two days seeming to be packed ones as well.
