Upendra Clarifies On UI Having 2 Different Climaxes

Upendra is a filmmaker known for his innovative ideas, and UI, which marks his return to directing after 9 years, is set to be another unique attempt from him. The movie produced by G Manoharan and Sreekanth KP is scheduled for release on the 20th of this month, and today, the film’s pre-release event was held.

Upendra spoke highly about the recent evolution of Tollywood in global cinema and also appreciated the Telugu audience for encouraging good cinema. He revealed that his producers provided him with all the resources needed. He also thanked Allu Aravind of Geetha Arts for supporting the Telugu release.

He made it clear that while the storyline will be very unique, he believes the audience will be able to decode it. “The very opening scene of the movie will be very shocking for the audience,” he shared.

When asked whether the movie would have two different climaxes, with different theaters screening one of them, Upendra clarified, saying, “There’s no truth to that. The movie will have only one climax. However, the content is so strong that you’ll want to watch it at least twice.”

Upendra also revealed his association with megastar Chiranjeevi, with whom he once planned to direct a movie.
