After rumours of being shelved due to budget constraints, Nani’s Shyam Singha Roy is back in news after a change of producer. Taxiwaala fame Rahul Sankrityan will direct the movie and Sai Pallavi and Krithi Shetty are the two leading ladies.
Now, the latest grapevine in Tollywood circles reveals that Nani will be playing the role of a filmmaker in Shyam Singha Roy. Well, Nani always dreamt of becoming a director and he started his career as an assistant director. Shyam Singha Roy will fulfill his dream at least on the big screen.
Shyam Singha Roy will feature a Kolkata backdrop with reincarnation as the main theme of the story. The shooting will commence from December and a major portion of the shoot will take place in Kolkata.
