The tragic stampede incident at Sandhya Theater during the release of Pushpa 2 has dominated discussions for two weeks, drawing reactions from fans, celebrities, and officials alike. Comedian Rahul Ramakrishna initially criticized the police’s handling of the situation and supported Allu Arjun. However, he has since retracted his comments after a detailed explanation from Hyderabad City Police Commissioner CV Anand.
Rahul’s retraction came as a social media post, accompanied by a video of the Commissioner outlining the events and circumstances leading to the incident. Acknowledging his earlier misunderstanding, Rahul stated, “I was not properly informed about the incident that day. I am withdrawing the comments I made.”
“I was terribly uninformed about all the events that took place. I take back my statements that I made previously,” he wrote on X.
In his initial remarks, Rahul questioned the authorities’ preparedness, pointing out the need for better crowd management, especially during high-profile events. He emphasized that such incidents often occur in various settings, from religious processions to political rallies, yet the response often differs.
