Police Complaint On Pushpa 2′ Swimming Pool Scene

While it was always expected that Allu Arjun and Pushpa 2 would rewrite the existing box office records, the result is bigger than expected, albeit for external reasons. The Sandhya theatre incident has subsequently meant that Allu Arjun is in the midst of a heated warfare situation.

Today, Pushpa 2 finds itself in another agitating situation as a new police complaint was filed against the film.

Congress MLC Theenmar Mallanna, who has been actively voicing his opinion against the film has lodged a complaint at Medipalli Police Station against actor Allu Arjun, director Sukumar, and the producers of Pushpa 2. The complaint alleges that a scene in the movie insults the police force.

The Congress MLC commented that there is this one scene in Pushpa 2 where the protagonist throws a police officer in the swimming pool and urinates in it. He claimed that this is open and humiliating insult to the police department.

Mallanna demanded stringent action against Allu Arjun, director Sukumar and the producers for insulting the police force through this scene.

Meanwhile, Allu Arjun‘s fans on social media are commenting that Pushpa is a work of fiction, and it must be seen just as a film. They are pointing out that many commercial films have such provocative scenes and it doesn’t mean every single one of them needs a legal recourse.
