‘Dooradarshini’ Promises a Nostalgic Love Story Set in the 1990s

The highly anticipated film “Dooradarshini”, featuring Suvikshith Bojja and Geethika Ratan, is generating excitement as it approaches its release. With the subtitle “Kalipindi Idderini”, the film is directed by Karthikeya Kommi and produced by B. Sai Pratap Reddy and Jaya Shankar Reddy under the Varaha Movie Makers banner. Currently in its post-production phase, the movie promises a heartfelt love story that aims to strike a chord with audiences.

The film’s title teaser was unveiled on Thursday by acclaimed music director R.P. Patnaik during a press conference. Sharing his thoughts, he said, “I’ve known the hero for quite some time, and Gemini Suresh has often spoken about this project with great enthusiasm. The film carries an air of positivity and will undoubtedly transport viewers back to the 90s, rekindling cherished memories of their own love stories. I am confident that ‘Dooradarshini’ will achieve great success and bring well-deserved recognition to the entire team.”

Adding to the sentiments, Gemini Suresh stated, “Suvikshith has approached this film with unwavering determination to establish himself in the industry. His dedication is evident in every frame. Director Karthikeya Kommi has beautifully recreated the essence of the 90s, and this film will serve as a nostalgic trip for audiences. Lead actress Geethika Ratan expressed her excitement, saying, “’Dooradarshini’ is a heartfelt film that will remind everyone of their most unforgettable days. The love story of Vani and Hari is incredibly captivating, and I feel privileged to be part of such a meaningful project.”

Speaking passionately about the film, Suvikshith Bojja shared, “The story of ‘Dooradarshini’ is set against the vibrant backdrop of the 1990s—a period many will relate to fondly. Every detail, from the actors to the locations, has been chosen meticulously to ensure authenticity. The press meet was attended by director Karthikeya Kommi, along with cast members including Tirupati Reddy, Narayana, choreographer Sunil Ponna, Balraju, Teja, Pandu, and others. With music composed by Anand Gurran, “Dooradarshini” is all set to leave a lasting impression on audiences with its nostalgic charm and heartfelt storytelling.
