Pawan Kalyan Or Vijay Deverakonda: Who Will Arrive?

The summer season is usually packed with high-profile films, featuring star heroes. The same is going to be the case this year as well with multiple star hero driven films lined up for release during the summer festival season. 

In particular, there is a lot of competition for the March 28 release slot, which comes with the hugely lucrative Ugadi festival holiday advantage.

As things stand, Pawan Kalyan’s Hari Hara Veera Mallu and Vijay Deverakonda’s VD12 are announced for release on March 28. However, despite both the films locking the same release date, only one of them will be utilising this slot. 

It was Vijay Devarkonda’s film, which first locked this date, but it was followed by the confirmation of the same release slot by the makers of HHVM. In this context, the producer of VD12, Naga Vamsi who shares close ties with Pawan Kalyan made it clear that their film will move to a new slot if HHVM locks March 28 slot. 

In accordance with this, the makers of HHVM are likely to drop the promotional material from January 1st with the debut of the first single. If the promotional campaign does start on January 1, then it could pretty much confirm that the film will be arriving in theatres on March 28.

In that case, the Vijay Devarkonda film could be moving to May or later. The makers are confident that this film is coming with strong content this time and Vijay is touted to make a solid comeback with the same. He even underwent a makeover for this film. 

For now, doubts continue to linger about who will be arriving in theaters on March 28 – will it be PK or VD? We could get more clarity on the same come this January when the promotional campaign is bound to start.
