Ajith’s Vidamuyarchi was supposed to be in the Sankranthi race along with Telugu biggies Game Changer, Daaku Maharaj, and Sankranthiki Vastunnam. In a recent update, the movie was postponed.
Lyca Productions released an official announcement that Vidaamuyarchi is not coming on Pongal Day. The statement says that Vidaamuyarchi will not be released on Pongal Day due to ‘unavoidable circumstances’.
However, the movie is said to be planned for release at a later date in the last week of January, though officially not announced.
Amid this, the rumors had it that the reason for Vidaamuyarchi skipping the Pongal race is the financial hurdles.
