A whole new generation begins with the 2025.
Babies born in 2025 will be the first of a new peer group—Generation Beta. Gen Alpha, which was for people born from 2010 to 2024, is now followed by Gen Beta, which will last until around 2039.
Before that it was Gen Z that ran from 1996 to 2010, and GenY or Millennials who were born from 1981 to 1996.
A social researcher and futurist Mark McCrindle said that by 2035, Gen Beta will make up 16 percent of the world’s population and live in a world powered by artificial intelligence.
Millennial parents use social media mostly to document their children’s lives, Generation Z knows about the challenges and positives that come with social media use from a very young age.
In an interesting fact, when Gen Beta is old enough to vote, Gen Z will mostly be the elected officials. Gen Beta will likely face challenges due to climate change.
