One Bad Move Shouldn’t Wipe Out His Good Work

Nandamuri Balakrishna is one of the OGs of Telugu cinema, and he is undoubtedly a director’s actor. Balayya Babu does not have any considerations of his image or what fans will think when it comes to performing on the screen. Without any doubt, he tried to do his job as an actor and faced criticism for the same. Now, the actor is facing trolls for his new song, Dhabbidi Dhibbidi.

Going into the details, the song Dhabbidi Dhibbidi from Balakrishna’s Daaku Maharaaj opened to criticism for the cringe dance steps. Balakrishna punching Urvashi Rautela’s back is being criticized, and Sekhar Master has composed it.

However, the criticism is uncalled for because it is solely directed at Balakrishna. A decade ago, Balakrishna was criticized for some scenes in his earlier films in which he slapped his thigh to send the train in the opposite direction. Later, he clarified that he did all of that at the insistence of his directors and producers but realized that it had resulted in trolls.

Even now, we can not completely blame Balakrishna for Dhabbidi Dhibbidi. Lately, he has been trying to come up with interesting dance moves in all his songs, and for that, Balakrishna is surrendering himself totally to his dance directors. So, even now, Balakrishna has done what Sekhar Master might have asked him to do, and there is no involvement from his side in it.

If Balakrishna had intended to promote cringe content, he would not have come up with the song Chinni, which was released in the same film a few days ago. Chinni’s song did not get its due, but it is one of the best songs in Telugu in recent times. Even in his last film Bhagvanth Kesari, Balakrishna gave importance to Sreeleela’s character more, which says that he goes along with the story flow.

Balakrishna’s supporters refute this criticism by promoting the actor’s good deeds. As Hindupur MLA, he has done many development activities and provides great service to cancer patients. He is doing a great service via Basavatarakam hospital in Hyderabad. At the same time, he is also establishing a new cancer hospital in Amaravathi.

Balakrishna is the only actor from the senior heroes who wants to be different and is trying to experiment. He is willing to put in all the best possible efforts for the same, and sometimes, things go wrong unexpectedly. So, it is not right to criticize Balakrishna in the current case; instead, we hope that the makers work on the feedback.
