Kalki 2898 AD is one of the latest releases in Japan. Starring Prabhas in the lead role, the film unit was supposed to launch a huge promotional campaign in the country but things did not work because of Prabhas’ injury.
Even then, Kalki stands next to RRR in Japan now. Kalki was released yesterday in Japan and has become the highest day-1 grosser already. The movie now holds the record for collecting a huge gross on the release day among the Indian films in the country.
Kalki broke the record of Saaho at the box office in Japan and stands next to RRR in terms of the gross. RRR was highly promoted in the country and collected a big revenue at the box office. Now, with less promotions, Kalki is already doing wonders at the box office.
If the same momentum continues, the movie will surely become the biggest Indian film in the country.
