Producer Dil Raju held a press meet today to share some crucial updates on the Sankranthi releases. He has made notable remarks regarding the potential hike in ticket prices for the film in Telangana. Game Changer is scheduled to be released on January 10 as a Sankranti gift, and it has already garnered significant attention. Dil Raju expressed his intent to approach Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy once again to seek approval to increase ticket rates in the state.
Dil Raju emphasized his optimism, highlighting the CM’s forward-thinking approach and support for the development of the film industry. He pointed out that increasing ticket prices for big-budget films benefits the producers and contributes to the government through an 18% tax on ticket sales.
Recollecting Revanth’s statements from an earlier meeting, Dil Raju said, “Revanth Reddy garu told that he is ready to provide anything we ask for. Hence, we will ask about the hiked prices for movie tickets in the state. It will also benefit the government. He is only concerned that unfortunate incidents should not happen, for which we are committed.”
Dil Raju also aims a comeback to the success with the Sankranthi releases. He is producing Game Changer as well as Sankranthi Ki Vastunnam. Additionally, he distributes Daaku Maharaaj.
