365 Days to #NTRNeel – Here’s the status!

NTR is currently shooting for WAR 2 and will soon jump onto the sets of Prashanth Neel’s film. Tentatively titled NTR-Neel, as of now the official date is January 9th, 2026, meaning there is exactly one year to go for witnessing the movie.

Prashanth Neel has already clarified that this is not a mythological film but a period-action drama. The director spent almost a year extensively on pre-production. The film will be shot on massive sets, and the producers, Mythri Movie Makers, heavily invested in constructing them.

Regarding the film’s cast, a few International actors will be a part of the project. Rukmini Vasanth, who is speculated to be a part of the project, completed the look test yesterday, and she is all excited to romance NTR on the screen. Simultaneously, the look tests are also being conducted for other actors, including Tovino Thomas and Biju Menon, who will play crucial roles in the movie.

Tentatively, the film’s shoot is scheduled to kick off on January 17 in Mangalore, Karnataka. Later, the team plans to shoot the movie in other countries, such as Sri Lanka, Mexico, and Ukraine. The team plans to wrap up the shoot in not less than 7 months.

NTR is reportedly allotting around 100 days for the project, and the core team intends to release the film during Sankranti 2026.
