‘The Odyssey’ Becomes Nolan’s Expensive Movie

Christopher Nolan is one of the most celebrated directors in world cinema. The master filmmaker delivered many phenomenal films like The Prestige, The Dark Knight Trilogy, Inception, Interstellar, Dunkirk, Tenet, and Oppenheimer. He is now returning with his new project, The Odyssey.

If the ongoing grapevine in Hollywood is anything to go by, The Odyssey will be the most expensive film in Nolan’s career. According to the reports, the film is being made on a massive budget of $250 million. Until now, The Dark Knight Rises (2012) remains the most expensive film in Nolan’s career.

Reportedly, the film features expensive sets and high-end visual effects. The Odyssey will be an adaptation of the original Greek poem collections written by Homer.

The film features popular actors like Tom Holland, Matt Damon, Zendaya, Anne Hathaway, Charlize Theron, Robert Pattinson and Lupita Nyong’o. It is heard that The Odyssey will have a runtime of over three hours, just like Nolan’s previous film, Oppenheimer.
