Thalapathy Vijay is one of the superstars of the Indian cinema. He was last seen in the film GOAT. Very soon, he will end his career in the film industry and will start focusing on his political party. Interestingly, he is going to do one last film and there are speculations about Vijay doing the remake of Bhagvanth Kesari.
Tamil actor VTV Ganesh, who participated in the Sankranthi Ki Vastunnam musical night event revealed that Vijay asked Anil Ravipudi to direct the film.
“Six months ago, I met Thalapathy Vijay Sir. He said he liked Bhagvanth Kesari movie and watched it five times. He told me that he asked Anil Ravipudi to direct the film, and it is his last film. However, Anil declined the offer, saying that he does not want to do a remake,” said VTV Ganesh.
Interestingly, Anil Ravipudi did not want this revelation to come out but he later issued a clarification over the same.
“Thalapathy Vijay garu called me and discussions took place between us. Vijay garu is yet to officially announce Thalapathy69. Hence, I do now want to talk about it. Out of love towards me, Ganesh garu made the revelation. What happened between us is a different discussion altogether. I respect Vijay garu a lot and he gives a lot of importance to the script. I met him during the making of Varisu and took part in script discussions with him a couple of times,” clarified Anil Ravipudi.
With this, is it clearly confirmed that Thalapathy69 is the remake of Bhagavanth Kesari?
