Venkatesh Decodes Failure of Saindhav

Victory Venkatesh has come up with a new film titled Sankranthi Ki Vastunnam, which was released in theatres today. Directed by Anil Ravipudi, the film opened to a hit response from everyone.

The film carried a positive buzz even before the release and it has been continued post the release as well. However, in a recent interview, Venky Mama opened up about the failure of his last film, Saindhav.

Venkatesh worked with young director Sailesh Kolanu for the film Saindhav. The film was released during Sankranthi last year. The film did not meet the expectations of the fans and audiences. It disappointed many and ended as a flop.

In a recent interview, Venkatesh opened up on what went wrong with Saindhav.

“It should not have been released during the festive period. We wanted to create a different world, on the lines of Gotham city, but we could not achieve what we had envisioned. My character not being able to save his daughter may have also disappointed the audiences,” said Venkatesh.

However, he revealed that he enjoyed working with Sailesh Kolanu.
